One of nature’s most precious gifts to human beings is the cranberry. Although small in size, it is filled with vitamins and antioxidants that are beneficial in maintaining our health. This fruit has been used for centuries, including as natural remedies by our ancestors.
According to registered dietitian Anna Jurik through Prevention.com, the cranberry’s dark color signifies its phytochemical content like anthocyanins known for their anti-inflammation properties. But it’s not solely meant to be eaten because there are many ways they can be used that will still be beneficial to our health:
Mouthwash
University of Rochester Medical Center researchers have found that cranberry juice effectively prevents bacteria from forming plaque in our mouth. Therefore, some believe that this could also help maintain a healthy mouth. ,

Removing dead skin cells can help bring out smoother and brighter skin and increase the absorption of beauty products. Throw a half cup of cranberries into the food processor and blend until it becomes a puree. Along with one half cup of melted coconut oil, mix one tablespoon of honey and one-and-a-half spoon sugar.

Scalp Treatment
Itchy scalp can result from many things, including the presence of dandruff or head lice, hives, scabies, atopic dermatitis, or an allergic reaction to hair care products. You can whip up a few ingredients to create your natural antiseptic solution.
Pour one-fourth cup witch hazel, one-fourth cup water, and one cup unsweetened cranberry juice in a spray bottle. Spritz generously on the scalp, leave it on overnight, and wash in the morning.
Thirst Quencher
Although there’s a wide debate on the body’s need for alcohol, moderate consumption remains ideal. If you’re not a big liquor drinker, here’s a refreshing beverage that’s not only thirst-quenching but is also easy to make.
